Fundraising Consulting
We are fundraising experts at MPT! We’re here to help you meet your most audacious goals. Are you considering a capital campaign? Need a planning study? Or maybe it’s time to develop or refresh your strategic plan. With My Philanthropy Team, you get a solid team of professionals with a breadth and depth of experience that leads to great results.
Leadership and Staff Development
Arguably, the most challenging and important work of a leader within a social benefit corporation is developing and managing people and relationships. Lots of them. The dynamics between CEO, the board, staff, donors, and those you serve, influences (for better or worse) how your organization develops and thrives. MPT offers a variety of individual coaching and group learning experiences to help you lead with confidence and skill. Call us to learn more about Executive Coaching, Professional Mentoring, Board Development, Staff Training, and Group Coaching. We can help bring out the best in you and your team.
Storytelling, Marketing,
& Digital Media
You’re doing uber-cool, important work in the world. Your programs impact lives and build strong communities. How do you tell your story in a way that moves people to action? At MPT, we LOVE developing the strategy and language that results in powerful, donor-centric communication pieces from Case Statements to Annual Reports to Social Media posts. Our creative and talented writers work with you to write memorable and moving stories that flow across the myriad of digital and print platforms. And there’s nothing like a compelling story to secure creative partnerships that advance your mission. What are the stories you need to tell?
About My Philanthropy Team
My Philanthropy Team (MPT) was founded in 2017 by Stacy Lee Gardner in response to the devastating impact of unjust political policies and other situations throughout the world that create suffering and perpetuate inequality for our sisters and brothers around the globe.
Recognizing that long-lasting and meaningful change would only come about by like-minded, smart, motivated and caring people coming together to solve these widespread societal issues, Stacy founded a new kind of fundraising firm that meets you, the client, where you are and, in essence and in practice, becomes an extension of your fundraising team.
The specialists at MPT offer a wide range of services from capital campaign planning and leadership, to delivering hands-on work product such as grant proposals and annual reports. And perhaps most importantly, we work with you to strengthen your effectiveness through our professional mentoring and leadership development programs for both staff and trustees. We partner with the organizations and people who are making a difference—so whether you need a campaign planning study, a proposal written, or a direct response campaign conceived of and managed—call My Philanthropy Team. We’ll roll up our sleeves and partner with you to get the work done and develop the resources you need to “be the change” the world is asking of us all right now.
Statement on Racial Equity
My Philanthropy Team is a woman-owned business, with 20% of our team members identifying as BIPOC. We believe Black Lives Matter and actively engage in activities to address systemic racism in fundraising and philanthropy, as well as the society at large. We believe that unconscious racial bias exists and that white allies have the responsibility to examine their behaviors and biases and begin the work of dismantling generations of the harmful and oppressive norms perpetuated by a white dominant culture.
My Philanthropy Team works world-wide with offices in the San Francisco Bay Area (main office), Philadelphia, PA and Nairobi, Kenya.
