Meeting You Where You Are

When I started My Philanthropy Team, I knew I wanted a company that would meet our non-profit clients where they were. As a former chief development officer for many years, I knew that offering “just” consulting wasn’t enough. I wanted to provide a service that not only offered strategic direction, but also the hands-on support that organizations often need to get the work done and meet their fundraising goals.

Today, I’m delighted to say that we have accomplished that goal and now have a stellar group of professionals who have the skills and expertise to support our clients in achieving fundraising excellence—on both a strategic and practical level. My Philanthropy Team is designed to serve as your adjunct fundraising office. We are here to help you develop your major gifts program, get proposals and reports to your funders on time, and to even serve as interim staff at the highest level.

Our team continues to grow to meet the constantly evolving needs of our clients. We have recently added two new professionals. Judith Frankel is a twenty-year fundraising veteran who has led major campaign initiatives at both large and small organizations, including the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco-Marin Food Bank, and Project Open Hand. Sheena Link is an institutional fundraiser extraordinaire, equally skilled at securing large government grants as she is at developing long-term relationships with private foundations and corporations. We couldn’t be happier to welcome Judith and Sheena to My Philanthropy Team!

We are also pleased to partner with several new clients, including Human Rights Watch, Richmond Community Housing Services, GiveThx, and The World Policy Center at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). We are grateful for the trust that our clients put in us and look forward to the excellent work we will certainly do together.
